Girls on the Run is coming to a close on November 19th with a 5K Celebration. Girls on the Run is a research-based running curriculum that focuses not only on the importance of physical activity, but also on understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork, and recognizing how we can shape the world around us. This season, we were able to allow 5th and 6th graders to participate in this great program that teaches valuable life skills that the girls will carry with them beyond their time here at Center School, and having so much fun while doing so! The girls are thrilled to celebrate all their efforts while running with a buddy. If you want to join in the fun and cheer on our team, the 5K will take place at Memorial Field in Concord at 10:30 am. The pre-run activities will begin at 9:30 am. Make some festive posters and drive to town to celebrate these amazing ladies!
