  • Drama Club- Congratulations to WCS Drama Club on their outstanding performance of Seussical Jr.! Under the dedicated direction of Mrs. Janessa Murphy and Mrs. Michaela Kosta., our talented students brought the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss to life with incredible energy, creativity, and enthusiasm. Their hard work was evident in every scene, from the colorful costumes to the lively musical numbers.

  • Student Council -The Student Council worked hard on creating paper flowers to decorate the lunch tables for Valentine's Day. 5th-grade students raffled off the bouquets, and 6th-grade students gave them to staff members to brighten their day. The 6th-grade Student Council created a Spirit Week for February. Select Student Council members from both grades participated in the Windham Voyager Podcast.

  • Student Leadership Program- This program begins in mid-March, and students will collaborate to launch Windham Center School’s first student newsletter.

  • PBIS- We held our upstander assembly on Friday, February 21, and recognized 40 students from both grade levels who exhibited upstander characteristics and were role models for the school. WPD and WFD attended this event and helped present the awards to our students.

  • Kid’s Heart Challenge - We're thrilled to share that, thanks to everyone's hard work and generosity, we not only met but exceeded our fundraising goal of $7,000 by raising $11,404.84! As a fun reward, our students will have the exciting opportunity to pie Assistant Principal Mrs. Herard and PE Teacher Mr. Dichard in the face. This event not only allowed us to raise funds but also helped spread awareness and teach more students how to perform hands-on CPR. Thanks to the incredible success of our Heart Challenge, we have been entered into a drawing for a chance to win an exciting gymnasium makeover.

  • Spelling Bee- Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Champion, Advait Reddivari! A big round of applause to all the participants for their incredible efforts. Special thanks to Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Ward for their excellent coordination of the spelling bee. We are very proud of our talented students.
