In February, one of our grade 6 students, Lily Sevigny shared her powerful story living with Tourette's Syndrome. She taught the students at WCS about how it affects her day to day and the importance of not letting challenges define who you are. Lily decided to share her story with the school to help bring awareness to Tourette’s syndrome and emphasize the importance of being kind because you never know what someone else is going through. She hopes it helps other students who may be struggling with their own issues and she wants them to know, they are not alone.
We are thankful to Lily for being so brave to share her story while educating others and bringing even more leadership to our school.
