Windham Center School is thrilled to announce its very first 5th and 6th Grade Dance, which will be held on Friday, May 9th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Windham Center School Gymnasium. This exciting event will give students a chance to enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and fun with their friends. After receiving plenty of enthusiastic feedback from students, the dance is set to be an unforgettable experience.
The event will feature a student-curated playlist, ensuring that the music is just right for the occasion. From pop hits to favorite tunes, students have chosen songs they’re eager to hear while dancing the night away.
One of the highlights of the evening is the flexible dress code. Whether students prefer to wear something fancy or just want to come in their favorite casual outfit, the dance is about having fun and feeling comfortable. It’s a “dress it up or dress it down” event, with no specific dress requirements.
We’re excited to offer this event for our 5th and 6th graders. It’s a great way to celebrate the hard work our students have put in this year and have a little fun with their peers. We can’t wait to see everyone on the dance floor!”
In addition to music and dancing, a variety of snacks will be available for students to enjoy throughout the night. All snacks will be $1. Whether they’re showing off their best dance moves or chatting with friends, the goal is to create a fun, safe, and memorable evening for all.
This dance is just one of the many exciting ways Windham Center School fosters a sense of community and belonging for its students. It’s sure to be an event that everyone will remember!
