Julian F. and Jake H. were honored with a Safety Award by the Windham PD and Officer Antista during an assembly for jumping into action and helping a friend that was choking during lunch. Their quick and courageous efforts were commended. The school and community are proud to have these two heroes at WCS. Each student left the event with an award, a special Windham PD Token and a smile!
Students in the assembly were reminded of the importance of when they see or hear something it is important to say or do something.
