Windham Center School is proud to offer a variety of extracurricular opportunities to students including:

Band/Orchestra

Fifth and sixth graders have the opportunity to join the beginning band. Students have the choice of learning how to play the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or percussion instruments. Part of the instruction includes proper use of the instrument, putting the instrument together, and properly holding it when playing. They are international, creative, problem-solving competitions for students in elementary school through college. Its purpose is to foster the development of creative thinking and creative problem-solving skills among young students.
